Setpoint optimisation
Cooling setpoints tuned continuously inside comfort limits.
An autonomous energy operator for buildings.
In Development
WattGrid is an autonomous energy optimisation layer for buildings. It works with the control systems already installed to tune cooling setpoints, chiller sequencing, peak shaving and pre-cooling — targeting meaningful kWh reduction without replacing capital equipment.
// the problem
In the Gulf, cooling is the largest single line in most building energy bills, and the equipment producing it usually runs on schedules and setpoints that were fixed years ago.
Tuning it properly is a continuous job — weather, occupancy and load change hourly, and no operator can hold that loop open all day across every zone and chiller.
The usual alternative is a capital project. WattGrid is designed to work with the plant already installed, inside comfort and safety limits set by the operator, with any efficiency figure treated as a target to be verified — not a result already achieved.
// how it works
/ 01
A non-invasive link to the existing building control system over open protocols.
/ 02
Load, weather, occupancy and local patterns are observed before anything is changed.
/ 03
Adjustments start as recommendations and move to supervised control at the operator's pace.
/ 04
Consumption is measured against a baseline so every target is checked, not assumed.
// capabilities
/ 01
Cooling setpoints tuned continuously inside comfort limits.
/ 02
Plant staged to match load instead of a fixed schedule.
/ 03
Demand peaks flattened around the hours that cost the most.
/ 04
Cooling shifted ahead of expected load where the building allows it.
/ 05
Hard comfort and safety limits, with override available at any time.
/ 06
Results reported against a baseline; targets are labelled as targets.
// audience
Offices and retail where cooling dominates the electricity bill.
Operators who want tighter control without a capital replacement project.
Owners comparing performance across several buildings on one baseline.
